How Server-Validated Dice & Anti-Cheat Protection Work in Online Ludo

In poorly built browser games, dice numbers are generated in client-side JavaScript and sent to the server—allowing anyone with browser developer tools to fake rolling a 6 on every turn. EarnTimes Ludo eliminates this vulnerability completely.

1. Cryptographically Secure Server Dice (CSPRNG)

When you play in an Online Multiplayer Room, clicking the dice sends an authenticated request to our PHP backend. The server verifies that it is genuinely your color's turn and invokes PHP's cryptographically secure random_int(1, 6) generator.

2. Authoritative 15×15 Move Validation

Before updating the database, LudoEngine.php checks every token's relative coordinate (-1 in the yard, 0–50 on the outer perimeter, 51–55 in the Home Stretch, and 56 in the Goal). Any illegal move request is rejected automatically.
